PHP fixed two critical flaws on October 21 that let attackers take over web servers. OpenAI says one was found with its GPT-5.6 Sol model.

What happened

Both flaws score 9.2 on the CVSS severity scale. They allow remote code execution without a login. The fixed versions are PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35. PHP's advisory says updating is the only safe choice. OpenAI says security firm Calif found one flaw using GPT-5.6 Sol. Wiz found both flaws on its own.
